- How cool is our recycled wine barrel, which has been given new life as a functional kegerator!? This keg barrel is built inside a French Oak Wine Barrel. The hinged door opens to accommodate 1/4 slim kegs or 1/6 microbrewery kegs. To keep the beer cold, simply place the keg in a bucket of ice. Our wine barrel keg barrel has been cleaned and sanded flush. This is a very strong, 200-year-old piece of French Oak.
