Performance Hatches feature our unique two-part construction for maximum protection. Both designs float when dropped in the water, and are easy to attach while still offering a superior watertight seal. Our 8” Round hatch is compatible with the Valley Canoe Products (VCP) round day hatch when mounted on an injection molded rim bolted/glued to the deck; not recommended for rotomolded kayaks that do not feature this rim.
