R&F Pigment Sticks are oil paint in stick form. Pigment Sticks allow the painter to draw or paint directly onto a surface without brushes, palettes, paint tubes, or solvents. We use only the basic traditional materials: natural wax (beeswax & plant wax), linseed oil, and pigment. The result is an oil stick with a lipstick soft consistency. Pigment Sticks have none of the additives, extenders, substitutes or facilitators that are commonly used in industrial production. While the use of these adulterations can save time and reduce cost, they lower the quality of the paint. Consequently, our formulas are complex and our manufacturing is labor-intensive. All paints are handmade in small batches, carefully milled and molded. R&F Pigment Sticks are available in over 100 beautiful colors, see each individual color for a description of the unique color. R&F Pigment Sticks are available in three sizes: 38ml, 100ml and 188ml. Proudly made by hand in the USA.

- UNIQUE COLOR – Sap Green was originally a watercolor pigment made from buckthorn berries and mixed with alum into a thick sap-like syrup, this color has a dark, earthy mass tone and a rich yellowish-green undertone, opacity is transparent
