Southwire's MC-HL ARMOR-X Instrumentation Cables, compliant with UL 1569, are ideal for installations as per NEC Article 330, serving process control, instrumentation, and general use in manufacturing, industrial, and commercial systems. These cables feature 7-strand copper conductors, insulated with nylon-covered PVC, and are color-coded black and white with alpha-numeric printing. Each pair is shielded with aluminum polyester foil and a tinned drain wire, with the entire assembly also shielded and protected by a tinned drain wire. Suitable for cable trays, raceways, conduit, aerial (with messenger support), and direct burial, these cables operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 90°C and are rated for Class I Div I hazardous locations. The inner jacket is black PVC with a nylon rip cord for easy removal, and the outer jacket is black PVC. They are approved for use in Class I, II, and III, Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations as per NEC Articles 501, 502, and 503.
